This simulation research license application is required for end-users seeking a research licensing discount. Research discounts are available for specific hypothesis-driven scientific research efforts. The provision of a research discount by SimX does not imply endorsement or approval of an application, and awardees are expected to follow all national, state, local, and institutional regulations regarding the conduct of the proposed research.
Research license awardees are expected to provide a final report detailing experiments performed and findings to SimX; such report may include an embargo request if required by a publisher. Awardees are also expected to acknowledge funding from SimX on supported research. If licenses subject to a research discount are used for subsequent / other research projects, the awardee must submit an additional application for each such project.
