Geriatric Fall

78 year old female in a hospital bed. She is admitted for possible (rule out) GI bleed, she also has a history of a stroke 10 years ago, with some residual left sided (upper and lower) weakness. Initially the learner must assess the patient in the bed. Then the patient will have a fall, and the learner must then assess the patient on the floor. While on the floor the learner must assess mental status, head, and Cervical spine. Patient will then be moved back to bed. After the patient is moved back to bed, the learner must do a full head to toe assessment. Learner then must give a report to the attending physician using SBAR format.
