HAPE/HACE

​Patient is a soldier in a mountainous region suffering from acute mountain sickness. Patient had been flown up the day before and began to be short of breath while on patrol. Participant starts case next to patient, who is having difficulty breathing, takes a brief history, and finds wet breath sounds on exam. Participant must listen to lungs, apply a pulse ox, recognize deteriorating mental status, administer meds, and decide to descend.
