Pre-Hospital Neuro Deficit

You arrive to the patient’s home after wife called 911 because her husband was having difficulty picking up his fork during dinner. Upon arrival, patient is arguing with his wife that he is fine, and he is telling you he doesn’t need to go to the hospital. Patient is a 72 year old Caucasian male with a past medical history of DM type 2 and hypertension (taking medications for both). He has focal right sided weakness with right sided facial droop. Last known normal 45 minutes ago.
