Mrs. Todd was admitted for bowel surgery three days ago, wound is well approximated, clean and dry, she has a saline lock, and a foley catheter. She is taking clear liquids in and her pain is managed at a pain scale of 3.
1. Demonstrate evidence-based care of a patient with suspected sepsis.
2. Recognize pertinent assessment and diagnostic findings.
3. Provide patient-centered care to a septic patient.
4. Complete the steps in the sepsis bundle.
