Kate Miller is a 60 year old white female postal worker. She has come to the ED with a complaint of shortness of breath after experiencing fever and a cough for 1 week. Patient is a smoker with a history of congestive heart failure, hypertension, and asthma. Learner is a health care provider in an ED setting, and during this scenario, will have the opportunity to work up the patient, develop a differential diagnosis, and treat the diagnosis.
