COVID-19 Triage

John Merril is a 58 year old white male food services worker. He has come to a COVID-19 testing site in a hospital parking lot with suspected COVID-19 symptoms. He has a history of Type II diabetes mellitus and hypertension. Learner is a health care provider in triage staging tent at a local hospital. John is exeriencing fever and chills as well as 1 day of cough. During this scenario, learners will have the opportunity to triage the patient by putting on some form of PPE, obtaining patient history, and answering questions at disposition.
