Scenario Description

This Simulated Patient Encounter maps to Scenario FUN 03 – Samuel Green – End-of-Life Care on the Elsevier Evolve Platform

Samuel Green is a 75-year-old Jewish male previously diagnosed with inoperable pulmonary adenocarcinoma. He became acutely ill after his last round of chemotherapy and his code status is do not resuscitate (DNR). The patient’s family is present and aware that he is actively dying. During this scenario, learners must provide end-of-life and postmortem care while supporting the family.
