Every year, a national competition called SimWars takes place as part of the Society for Academic Medicine (SAEM) national conference. SimWars is a simulation-based competition between teams of clinical providers that compete in various aspects of patient care in front of a large audience. This year, the SimX platform was used to deliver a simulation case to team of emergency medicine residents! SimWars combines a group-learning format with individual skill assessment to enhance global knowledge and skill performance. Here is the team from the Washington University in St. Louis Emergency Medicine Residency program working through a tough SimX case!
