What to Expect

Look for the SimX booth to experience in person our immersive virtual patient encounters. Over the past year, the SimX team created dozens of new cases in partnership with institutions and sim centers worldwide. Some of our recent developments include:

• The SimX Virtual Manikin Series: The SimX Virtual Manikin Series is a customizable collection of simulated patient encounters that allows educators to select patient avatars, environments, and scenario outcomes to create unique simulations. The Virtual Manikin can respond to and interact with learners in an effort to gain true-to-life clinical experience. Unlike physical manikins, the Virtual Manikin can be set up in less than 5 minutes

Upgraded Content for Nursing: SimX’s simulated patient encounters for nursing help to develop practice-ready graduates through experiential learning and a competency-based education. Immerse students in realistic clinical scenarios where they can practice empathy, compassion, communication, and other essential aspects of person-centered care.

Innovative Custom Scenarios: We’ve been busy this past year creating custom encounters in partnership with institutions around the world. From EMS, Pediatrics, and Anesthesia scenarios to Public Health and behavior management, SimX truly is the most advanced immersive sim platform in the world, designed for all training levels and student types. New custom encounters include our Distracted Driver case with Northshore University Healthcare System, a Pediatric Airway case with Air Methods, a Coarctation case with Children’s National, and many more!
