Abdullah Yusuf, a 12-year-old Arab American male, was brought to the emergency department with complaints of abdominal pain, vomiting, and low-grade fever. Emergency surgery for acute appendicitis has been scheduled. During this scenario, learners must practice time management and prioritization in preparing a pediatric patient for surgery.
