Scenario Description

This scenario presents an elderly patient with diarrhea who is newly diagnosed with Clostridium difficile colitis, which the learner is informed of via EMR progress notes on VR tablet. The learner must note positive C Diff results on the tablet, don gown and gloves to enter the treatment room, counsel the patient and their family on C. Diff, care for the patient (roll patient over, inspect back, change soiled chuck, and dispose of chuck correctly), and finally disrobe and wash their hands to successfully complete the case.
