Carolina Samolis is a 4-year-old Hispanic female with cerebral palsy, a tracheostomy, and gastrostomy tube (G-tube). She was admitted today with a fever, pneumonia, and otitis media. Orders have been received to obtain a sputum culture and start IV antibiotics. During this scenario, learners must prioritize care for this patient.
