c. Determines options of medications available.
d. Administers medication using proper medication administration techniques/procedures.

3. Learner(s) will provide alternative interventions for pain/discomfort relief.
a. Provides patient comfort options.
b. Provides interventions as needed.

4. Learner(s) will demonstrate proper medication follow-up.
a. Documents on medication administration record.
b. Communicates with the care team.
c. Assesses effectiveness of medication & interventions provided to decrease pain/discomfort level.
